AI Workers, Compared

AI social media managers: 80% of them are Buffer with a chat button

I've used four of the five tools below, mostly for clients who wanted "a social presence" without hiring anyone. Reality check: the AI drafts are serviceable and forgettable, which is fine for filling a calendar and bad for actually growing an account. Where these tools earn their fee is workflow: recycling posts that worked, queue management, and not letting your client's grid go dark for three weeks. Judge them on that, not on the demo posts.

ContentStudio Standard $19/mo, Advanced $49/mo, Agency Unlimited $99/mo (billed annually); Enterprise custom; AI credits included per plan
free trial · monthly or annual
The one I keep coming back to. Planner and publisher first, AI second, which is the correct order. If you manage multiple clients, start here.
Ocoya Starter $29/mo, Team $79/mo, Agency $199/mo (billed monthly, 300/1,500/5,000 AI credits); custom enterprise plans
free trial · monthly billing
Copy templates are its strong suit; the scheduler is fine. Good fit if writing captions is your bottleneck rather than strategy.
Predis.ai Core $24/mo, Rise $55/mo, Enterprise+ $212/mo billed yearly (monthly billing $32/$79/$249); credit-based (1,300-10,000 credits/mo)
free trial · monthly or annual
Actually generates carousels and short video, not just text. Output needs a human pass, every time, but it's the fastest first draft I've used for visual formats.
FeedHive Creator $15/mo ($180/yr), Brand $22/mo ($264/yr), Business $69/mo ($828/yr), Agency $239/mo ($2,868/yr); save up to 30% with yearly
free trial · monthly or annual
Scheduling with an AI nudge about when to post. Solid, cheap, unambitious. Nothing wrong with that.
Vista Social Professional $99/mo, Advanced $199/mo, Scale $449/mo (yearly $950/$1,910/$4,310); Enterprise custom; Listening add-on from $75/mo
free trial · monthly or annual
Full suite with an AI assistant that stays out of the way. The inbox and review features are why agencies pick it over the others.
What these tools won't do: give you a point of view. I've never seen an AI tool produce a post that got a client noticed; I've seen them keep accounts alive at 10% of the cost of a junior hire. If you need the first thing, the budget belongs with a writer. If you need the second, any two of these will do and you should pick on price and UI.

Checked 20 Oct 2026. All five publish list pricing now, which is rare in this category; several also run lifetime deals on AppSumo, which is how I originally bought three of them. No paid placements.
